2018 Bella Terra VQA Red Wine
Bella Terra means “beautiful land” in Italy, which means this wine was born in the beautiful Niagara region. It marries together the 3 main red varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvested partially from our oldest (over 30 years old) vineyards, this wine introduces you to the depth and complexity of our unique terroir. A rich nose of ripe black currants with hints of hibiscus, honey, eucalyptus and cedar notes. This Bella Terra Red spent 18 months ageing in French oak barrels. Smooth tannin and balanced acidity, long finish give you a very pleasant enjoyment!
